Open Mind in Action campaign

The concept of "Open Mind in Action" campaign came out in result of our 10-year experience of working in custom application development market and as a result of a number of R&D projects conducted by our company.

Providing our service we've been trying to find out why and how our clients came to decision to outsource the development of their custom application. There were two major reasons quoted bellow:
"There are many products of this type available on the market, but all of them either too expensive to deploy or don't suite our primary needs in the way we want it to be suited. We can't wait for software vendors to come around to our way of thinking."

"Software development is not our primary business. We do not have in-house capacity and qualification to develop software on our own, or to accommodate and rearrange existing solutions for our needs. Even if this concerns some open source product. No doubt, open source is a great and groundbreaking concept, but it doesn't work in our case."
Definitely, nothing could be more tailored to your needs than a full-scale custom application which has been developed on your demand. Any mass product is a compromise, where you pay for something you will never use and face the necessity of product customization and adaptation to your needs. But usually a mass product is cheaper than custom application development and for many people this is a determining factor.

Taking into account all the above we've decided to launch a campaign for delivering several products on the market, which functionality will evolve on the base of user demand and opinions, and make these products free of charge for those who will supply us with such demand and opinions.

Joining us in this campaign, people are getting a good chance to receive a product that looks and works the way they need it to be and without being charged. The only thing that we are asking them in return - is the feedback that helps us better understand their needs and improve our products.

And of course, if eventually one of these products outgrows Actimind's freeware service, those who have been working with Actimind in its open-mind effort will get the privilege of keeping it for free.
